About Me
Half my life ago, I was an aspiring writer. I'd just sold my first film script. I was editing a literary review that Novel and Short Story Writers market called the wave of the future. Then reality hit, family hit, the job hit. 25 years later, I'm trying to crawl back into the saddle.
My fiction has a lot of Cincinnati mixed up in it. I did not start out to be a local color writer, but whenever I started writing about the Clifton Jellyheads, or growing up a Northside Krauthead, people asked me for more. I ran a coffee house for years up near U.C.-- a salon of sorts that ended up being sort of Gertrude Stein meets the NRA meets Generation X.
Non-fiction? I write a lot of it, mostly about deer and turkey hunting. I am on the Pro-Staff of Deer & Deer Hunter Magazine and Heirloom Turkey Calls. I have a weblog : blackholecoffeehouse.blogspot.com

I Am Looking For
I would like to find agents willing to give me a shot. I have one novel that I am currently trying to peddle and a bunch more in the pipleline.
My big non-fiction projects are beginner's guides to deer and turkey hunting for suburban idiots like I was that want to get involved, but have no clue beyond what they see on TV.
